Liza's true calling has always been music. She began writing songs at the age of 5 on the piano and hasn't stopped since. Her initial interest in music grew into an undeniable passion for film scoring, songwriting, and eventually film production and development.

In high school, she performed her arrangements and compositions with an award-winning a cappella group and orchestra around the country, and was the first female singer from her school to be accepted into the Southern California Vocal Association's All-State Honor Choir. Liza ventured into the world of songwriting, recording and releasing two EP albums on iTunes.

But Liza wanted to take her musical knowledge to the next level. When she was 17, she enrolled in an additional advanced online music theory course through Stanford University. The following year, Liza attended a music composition program at Northwestern University, exploring her creative process with professional guidance. She cultivated an interest in film at the Saint Andrew's University International Summer School in Scotland, where her film won the award for Best Cinematography.

Bridging the gap between music and film, Liza began working with Lexi, writing the theme song "The Girl Who" for her screenplay that they pitched to Disney and ABC Family. She also shadowed several television composers, including Blake Neely (The Mentalist, The Flash), allowing her to learn how and why music is paired with visuals. She went on to study songwriting, music business, film scoring, and film production at New York University. While scoring a dozen student films, video games, and commercials, Liza grew as a filmmaker, directing a visual short to accompany her own music, and produced/scored Lexi's Senior Thesis film, BOUND. In her spare time, she DJ'd professionally at venues and fashion shows in the city, performing her own mash-ups and remixes.

In her last year at NYU, Liza was a production and development intern at Storyville Entertainment, honing her skills as a creative producer. Liza is happy working in both the business and artistic sides of entertainment and wants nothing more than to continue such a partnership with Lexi!
